This song is incredibly old.
But when it came out, I was almost fluent in German.
It doesn't talk about being thin, but it's one of my fave thinspiration.
When I binge, I sometimes think
"Und warum???
Nur fur ein Stück - von dem falschen Glück?"
And then, to my old skinny self:
"Du kommst nie mehr zurück - komm zurück, komm zurück!!!"

Oh i think it's sooo cool you speak german! Too bad i had no idea what she was singing :(
it's actually a song about a friend who has died of overdose, after being a lousy friend for ages due to her drug addictions.
Very sad, but I like the sound and the emphasys in the singers' voices.
I'm native Italian speaker, and honestly I never studied foreign languages in my life. But I happened to live in the UK for a while when I was a kid (plus I work mostly in English), in 2005 I moved to France for 4 years and after a while learnt French, and when I was 16 my mother sent me in a Swiss college for a summer, and I learnt a bit German there...
It's just a matter of things that happened in my life!!
